Perimenopause is the transitional phase leading up to menopause, when hormone levels begin to shift, sometimes dramatically. It can start as early as your mid-30s and last several years, but many of us don’t even know we’re in it until things change dramatically. Perimenopause can bring hot flashes, night sweats, brain fog, mood swings, and irregular periods, but it doesn’t stop there. You might also feel anxious, forgetful, suddenly exhausted, or even like a stranger in your own skin. These symptoms are real—and valid—even if your doctor dismisses them or your friends haven’t talked about them.

That’s because society often treats women aging and hormonal changes like a taboo. But the truth? Understanding what’s happening in your body is power. There’s no one-size-fits-all fix, but there are options. Hormone therapy can help, but so can lifestyle changes: prioritizing sleep, reducing stress, staying active, and nourishing your body with supplements and whole foods can help. Many women also find relief through acupuncture, herbal support, or mindfulness practices. The key is tuning in and advocating for care that feels right for you. Most of all, know this: you’re not alone, and you’re not broken. Let us help you reclaim this powerful transition and live a full, vibrant life. You deserve knowledge, support, and dignity every step of the way.
